Application Information
All fine artists and fine craft persons are invited to apply for this world renowned premier fine arts festival® presented by the Indio Chamber of Commerce in Indio California! Featuring over 275 acclaimed artists showing traditional, contemporary and abstract fine works of art and quality crafts, the festival is a major, internationally recognized cultural event and was attended by nearly 10,000 people in 2010.
Over two hundred and seventy five artists will be invited to participate in this three-day event. The Southwest Arts Festival® features a wide selection of clay, crafts, drawings, glass work, jewelry, metal works, paintings, photographs, printmaking, sculpture and textiles-all for sale to the discriminating art enthusiast. It's not just Southwest art! It's art for everyone!
As an invited artist you will enjoy one of the most exciting and hospitable festivals anywhere. We make a special effort to connect patrons with our artists we require that all artists, regardless of weather, be present every day of the festival. Festival hours are 10 am to 5 pm each day.
Application fee is just $50 for early-birds (before August 31) and $65 after that. We provide easy check-in and check-out procedures with safe and secure access to festival grounds for set-up and breakdown. We allow advance set-up for artists with special requirements (very large art requiring the use of cranes, forklifts, etc., or artists with special needs.). Artist parking is free. Disabled artist parking is available.
