26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival® Announces Total of 260 Artists Attending the Festival in Nine Categories of Artistic Disciplines on January 27, 28 and 29 at the Empire Polo Club. Outdoor Café, Entertainment and the Children’s S.C.R.A.P Gallery Also Featured.(Indio, CA – January 5, 2012) The Indio Chamber of Commerce recently announced a total of 260 artists from around the country in nine categories of artistic disciplines will be attending the 2012 Southwest Arts Festival® taking place January 27, 28 and 29, 2012. Celebrating their 26th Anniversary, the Southwest Arts Festival® will once again be held at the world-renowned Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. “We’re excited about the various categories and range of artists the Festival attracts and the excellence of artwork that will be showcased this year.” notes Joyce Donaldson, Indio Chamber of Commerce’s President/CEO.
The Award winning S.C.R.A.P. Gallery (The Art Museum for the Environment) Will Once Again be in Attendance With Free Art Projects for Children at the 26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival® on January 27, 28 and 29 at the Empire Polo Club(Indio, CA – January 5, 2012) The Indio Chamber of Commerce announces that the award winning S.C.R.A.P. Gallery (The Art Museum for the Environment-www.scrapgallery.org) will once again have a booth for children to create free art projects at this year’s Festival on January 27, 28 and 29.
26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival ® Announces Media Sponsors for the Upcoming Festival on January 27, 28 and 29 at the Empire Polo Grounds(Indio, CA – December 8, 2011) The Indio Chamber of Commerce recently announced the media sponsors for the 26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival. 26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival® Poster of Long-Time Indio Landmark Unveiled at Festival Kick Off Event at the Indio Chamber of Commerce.(Indio, CA – November 29, 2011) The Indio Chamber of Commerce unveiled the 26th Annual 2012 Southwest Arts Festival Poster of the Anderson Date Farm at the Chamber offices on November 29th. The owners of the historic Anderson Date Farm were on hand to provide the history on this beautiful east Valley landmark. The 2012 Poster Artist, award winning American Impressionist, Robert Ferguson, unveiled his work and signed 400 posters which are on sale for $35 at the Chamber offices and at the Festival. His winning work is an oil on canvas Plein Air painting of the Anderson Date Farm.

Poster Artist for the 2011 Southwest Arts Festival® has been chosen(Indio, CA – August 9, 2010) The Indio Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Poster Artist for the 2011 Southwest Arts Festival® has been chosen.
That artist is Richard Curtner, of Cathedral City. Curtner is skilled in numerous mediums of art. His preferred body of work is in Textual Collage (word collage) presentations.

(Indio, CA – June 29, 2010) The Indio Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications to the Southwest Arts Festival® which will take place January 28, 29 and 30, 2011. Celebrating their 25th Anniversary the Southwest Arts Festival® will once again be held at the world-renowned Empire Polo Club in Indio California.
(Indio - January 24, 2010) The Indio Chamber of Commerce kicks off its 24th annual Southwest Arts Festival® this Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. This year's Festival features a wider array of contemporary artists showcasing and selling their work than previous Festivals. Artist categories include; sculpture, textiles, photos, printmaking, painting, crafts, jewelry and drawing.
(Indio, CA - January 13, 2010) International artist, Laurent Martres is personally signing 750 of his winning 24th annual Southwest Arts Festival posters on Friday, January, 15 from 11:00 to 2:00 at the Indio Chamber of Commerce office. Posters will be available beginning at noon. Laurent's signature makes these posters true collector pieces. The posters will be available at the Chamber office for $35.00. Signed posters may be purchased during the Festival at the Empire Polo Club. Post Festival they will once again be sold at the Chamber office.

This year's Festival held on January 29, 30 and 31 will showcase 255 artists exhibiting and selling their work at the one of the country's top rated venues, The Empire Polo Club in Indio.
